Comments: "Marty" is sired by none other than Dom Lucilio, THE Royal Fawn son: multiple color champion and sire of over 70 color champions in all color groups, who was at one time the highest selling huacaya male on record. His dam is our own "Maggie" who has won her share of fleece awards. He is awesome, as his pedigree says he should be. His dam is sired by the multiple blue ribbon & Get of Sire winner, Brittany's Desparado (True Black, owned by Maple Brook Alpacas) and her bay black Peruvian dam is by Alianza import Peruvian Macusani (gray). This boy will be throwing cria in colors with potential for black and gray!
This young male has extremely dense bone even now and is covered nose to toes with bundles of lusciously soft, crimpy and BRIGHT fleece that separates naturally into discrete tendrils. His '07 histogram at 11 months of age showed AFD: 19; SD: 3.7; CV: 19.5; CF: 99.4; SF: 17.9! Not too shabby! Oh yeah, he is PCR negative for BVD, as is our entire herd.
